• Choose a collection with masculine themes
• Choose earth tones and darker color schemes
• Use understated patterned papers and solids
• Choose Dies with bold straight lines vs. swirly delicate lines
• Minimize the “Froo-froo”
• Keep the “shine” to a minimum (leave off the glitter)

These are not hard and fast “rules” for masculine cards, just some guidelines to help you if you are struggling with your masculine designs. Using some of these tips might help you create a more masculine designed card.
